The aircraft symbol has dual purpose: Indication of the nose of the aircraft in relation to the horizon and angle of attack represented by fangs splitting from the wings of the symbol. Critical angle of attack is indicated by a crack, stall is indicated by saw edge, spin is indicated by the fang curving in the opposite direction of the spin rotation.
